052: Gosh-Dang Pope Comix!

Seven panels in one update? Holy crap! Yes, I was feeling extra-motivated being so close to the
end of this strip. Hope you've all enjoyed this little diversion.

I've also made a large image compiling all twenty-two panels. And when I say large I mean ginormous (almost half-a-meg!). Click the thumbnail below if you dare.

050: Bad Accents

So... Post number 50. The Big Five-Oh. And I've got a drawing of people talking out of strange body parts.

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

048: SpiderMan Man

Just freesketching with the brushpens and listening to Man Man. "22 Panels" will continue tomorrow or the next day. Dad just got into town for a visit. Y'know how it is.

047: Hot Damocles!

This installment is dedicated to Jonathan, who said, "You need to draw a dick in this comic", and I couldn't think of a reason to say no.

To anybody still checking this page, Happy New Year!

Today's drawing is the first part in an exercise to draw a comic following the structure of Wally Wood's 22 Panels That Always Work. Just a little something to shake myself up and have some fun with.

Now that it's a new year, I'm making an effort to start posting here regularly again. I'm not sure I'll be able to hold to a daily schedule, but I'll do my best.

I just wanted to give shout out to Eric Canete's art blog. He recently posted a barrage of sketches in a bid to do 31 ninety-minute drawings for the month of December. Following his blog has been a big inspiration for me lately, and the breadth and quality of his recent work is amazing. If you have some spare moments, I totally recommend checking it out.
